My first work on ZBrush ...trying to do things on my own. This took me around an hour to do.

Nice start, Try to focus on anatomy and forms, your sketching is good too, if you want to improve further then try to grab- Glenn vilppu manual, George Bridgeman drawing books. you can find out on net in pdf format.
